O-PLS-DA
Orthogonal Projections to Latent Structures is a linear regression method that has been employed successfully for prediction modelling in various biological and biochemical applications. Among the benefits provided by the OPLS method is its innate ability to model data with both noisy as well as multi-collinear variables, such as spectral data from metabolic profiling and other omics platforms. See OPLS-PLSDA, Trygg et al. 2006, Bylesjö1. Max et al. 2008 & Wehrens 2011.
